Tarkett heterogeneous vinyl flooring
Heterogeneous vinyl flooring is multi-layered. It has a wear layer of pure PVC over a printed decorative film, and a load-bearing substrate underneath. This means that wear resistance is separate from the design: one can choose wood, concrete or a plain colour without compromising on the usage class. Our ranges are divided into two groups. The solid ranges (Acczent, Ruby) are designed for heavy footfall and wheeled traffic. The acoustic ranges with a foam underlay (Tapiflex) reduce impact noise; for example, Tapiflex Excellence reduces it by 19 dB, which is particularly important in schools, hospital wards and open-plan offices. Tektanium’s surface treatment reduces cleaning costs throughout the product’s lifecycle
