Tarkett linoleum for education, healthcare and offices
Linoleum is produced from linseed oil, natural resins, wood flour and limestone powder, laid over a jute backing. At Tarkett, natural raw materials account for up to 97 per cent, which is why it is the choice for projects with sustainability requirements and certifications such as LEED and BREEAM. The xf² surface protection makes cleaning easier and eliminates the need for wax. This range covers the basic needs of a project: Veneto, Style Emme, Etrusco and Style Elle in various designs, Bfl-s1 fire-rated and R10 slip-resistant versions, an acoustic version with cork (15 dB), a conductive version for laboratories, Linomarine for ships and Lino Loose-Lay for adhesive-free renovation. linoleum is more demanding to install than vinyl. It requires acclimatisation, suitable adhesive and heat-sealing of joints using linoleum welding rod. For every project, we recommend technical consultation with ARGYNET prior to drawing up the specifications.
