CERESIT CL 69 | Waterproofing and decoupling membrane

Cementitious waterproofing mortars

Description

CERESIT CL 69 is not a coating but a sheet: a three-layer polyethylene membrane with fabric on both sides, 0.4 mm thick. It is bonded into a layer of adhesive using a 4 mm notched trowel and is ready for tiling immediately, with no waiting time.

It performs two functions simultaneously: it waterproofs and provides a decoupling layer. The decoupling allows tiles to be laid on problematic substrates — cracked surfaces, those with adhesive residue, and even on parquet or painted surfaces. It works on both indoor and outdoor floors, and unlike CL 51, it is also suitable for swimming pools.

It does not dry out — it is a sheet. This means the tiles can be laid immediately and the mortar can have a moisture content of up to 4 per cent, rather than 0.5 per cent. It is also the only product that allows you to remove the tiles later without damaging the substrate.
