ESHADIEN ULTRAWHITE SBS -20 | Cool roof

SBS elastomeric bituminous membranes

Description

SBS elastomeric membrane with a reinforced, three-layer, highly reflective white film — waterproofing and a cool-roof solution in a single product.

The ARGYNET View: Acrylic/PU cool-roof coatings fade and require re-waterproofing within a few years. ULTRAWHITE is a membrane — a timeless white, with no maintenance cycle.

Overview

Key Features

- High reflectance of sunlight, resulting in a ‘cool roof’ effect beneath a flat roof, reducing the temperature by 5°C or more.

- Helps to reduce the ‘heat island’ effect and lower the energy consumption of air-conditioning systems.

- Reduction in CO₂ emissions

- Self-cleaning surface; does not develop yellow stains or carbonisation when exposed to solar radiation, a phenomenon that occurs with waterproofing using polyurethane or other liquid-applied coatings.

- It does not require re-waterproofing every few years, unlike standard acrylic and polyurethane liquid-applied coatings.

- Wide temperature range for application.

- High crack resistance, due to the elastic properties of the membrane.

- High puncture resistance and resistance to mechanical stress.

- Enhanced adhesion to any substrate.

- Enhanced resistance to ageing.

- No loss of material from the membrane’s surface, as occurs with bituminous membranes containing granules (granule loss).

- Colour remains consistently white over time
