NEOPLAK LOW CARBON

Expanded polystyrene (EPS)

Description

NEOPLAK® Low Carbon are graphite-coated EPS boards made from BASF’s Neopor® BMB (biomass balance): manufactured from 50 per cent renewable raw materials, with REDcert² certification, whilst maintaining the leading λD value of 0.030 W/(m·K). The CO₂ footprint is reduced by up to 40% compared to conventional EPS panels.

The ARGYNET View: The ‘green’ graphite-reinforced EPS — the same top-class λ value of 0.030 as conventional graphite-reinforced panels, but with a certified biomass balance and up to 40% lower CO₂ emissions. It is the ideal choice for projects with environmental criteria (public sector, LEED/BREEAM, ESG). Three formats (TX-TT / BT-AM / AM) cover double-skin walls, concrete and inverted flat roofs. Self-extinguishing, but Euroclass E — where A1 is required → stone wool.
