Skirting boards for LVT | Tarkett decorative PVC skirting boards in 200 designs

Tarkett’s set-on decorative skirting boards are designed to ‘extend’ the LVT flooring onto the wall: each wood, stone or concrete design in the collection has its own skirting, with the same film and the same shade. The core is made of solid PVC, which is lighter and more flexible than MDF, so it conforms to slightly uneven walls without leaving any gaps. The PUR-coated surface is resistant to abrasion from brooms and mops. The skirting is waterproof: it can withstand 72 hours submerged in water, so it does not swell when wet mopped, unlike wooden or MDF skirting boards. It is fixed to the wall with mastic adhesive and covers the expansion joint in click and loose-lay flooring.

At ARGYNET, we recommend it in conjunction with any Tarkett LVT – whether glued, click or loose-lay – in offices, hotels, shops, clinics and homes. It is also suitable for both homogeneous and heterogeneous vinyl rolls where there is no skirting board. As it is waterproof, it is the right choice for kitchens, residential bathrooms and areas subject to frequent wet cleaning. For a uniform finish, the skirting should be selected in the same design and colour as the flooring. For window frames and columns, the flexibility of PVC makes cutting and fitting easier than with wood.
