CLEANEO® AKUSTIK UFF 8/12/50 R 12.5 | Perforated plasterboard
Structural boards for dry constructionDescription
Perforated plasterboard for suspended ceilings and walls that combines two functions: sound absorption for excellent room acoustics and integrated air-purification technology that improves indoor environmental quality.
Knauf Cleaneo Akustik UFF are perforated plasterboards compliant with EN 14190, featuring a glass fibre acoustic filter (white or black) industrially bonded to the rear surface. The perforated surface absorbs sound and reduces reverberation, whilst the factory-formed and primed UFF-type perimeter edges ensure the perforation pattern remains continuous from panel to panel — for a uniform, ‘seamless’ ceiling appearance.
Sound absorption & air purification:
Sound absorption, not sound insulation: Cleaneo reduces reverberation and improves sound clarity within the space. To prevent sound transmission between rooms, you need a sound-insulating system (e.g. Piano DF + mineral wool) — a different requirement.
Cleaneo technology: an integrated material that binds and eliminates volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and odours, improving indoor air quality — ideal for schools, offices and healthcare facilities.
8/12/50 R perforation pattern: random perforation with round holes (R), offering a balance between acoustic performance and aesthetics.
