ULTRACOUSTIC P | Mineral wool boards

Knauf Insulation’s Ultracoustic P is a specially designed, self-supporting mineral wool board featuring ECOSE® Technology, offering high sound absorption. It is intended for sound insulation, thermal insulation and fire protection in dry construction partitions, walls and suspended ceilings, in residential and commercial premises.

Ultracoustic P is the ‘acoustic’ member of the Knauf mineral wool family: when installed within a partition, it absorbs airborne sound energy and increases the system’s sound reduction index (Rw). The thicknesses (45/60/70 mm) match the widths of the profiles for dry construction exactly. For each system, there are certified acoustic performance measurements from an accredited institute — available to architects, acousticians and specifiers via the technical department.
