A white, ready-to-use filler that does two jobs in one: jointing and final finishing of plasterboard. Ready for use straight from the container, it covers all surface quality grades from Q1 to Q4.

Knauf F2F is a white, ready-to-use jointing and finishing compound for interior use. No mixing is required; it is easy to apply and sand, and produces a smooth, even finish. It is ideal both for filling joints and for the final skimming of the surface before painting.

What do Q1–Q4 mean?

The finish quality of a plasterboard is specified in levels:

Q1 — basic jointing (joints + screws); for non-visible or tiled surfaces.

Q2 — standard finish; the most common, for matt paints.

Q3 — improved, smooth finish; for non-critical lighting conditions.

Q4 — premium, fully trowelled finish; for oblique/critical lighting and glossy colours.

F2F covers all four — a single material from the grout line right through to the final coat.
