Knauf’s standard plasterboard: Type A in accordance with EN 520, the reliable and cost-effective basis for all standard dry construction interior applications in dry environments.

Knauf Type A is the standard dry construction board for standard domestic and commercial dry environments without specific requirements regarding moisture, fire resistance or sound insulation. It can also be applied as a dry plaster finish to existing walls.

Type A & when you need something more:

Type A covers the basics. Depending on the requirements of the space, you can upgrade to:

- Humidity (bathroom/kitchen) → Type H2

- Fire resistance → Type DF or Fireboard A1

- Sound insulation → Piano DF

- All of the above + durability → Diamant DFH1IR

- Wet areas (shower cubicles) → AQUAPANEL

- Facades/exteriors → GUARDEX / Glasroc X
