KS 61 / KS100 | Tarkett semi-flexible PVC skirting board

The KS 61 is the classic PVC skirting board for professional vinyl flooring. It is semi-flexible, so it remains straight and stable, with two soft lips, one at the top and one at the bottom, which press against the wall and the floor and seal any small gaps. This prevents dust and water from the mop from accumulating. The range of 25 colours, each with an NCS code, matches Tarkett’s homogeneous, heterogeneous and LVT flooring: grey and beige for a neutral finish, white and dark shades for contrast, and vibrant colours (red, yellow, petrol, blue, khaki) for schools and nurseries. The KS100, 100 mm high, provides greater protection for walls against mops, trolleys and chairs.

At ARGYNET, we recommend it as a cost-effective and quick skirting solution for vinyl flooring in offices, schools, shops and communal areas, where there is no requirement for the floor to be raised up to the wall for hygiene reasons. For operating theatres, wards and areas with high hygiene requirements, the correct solution is to raise the vinyl flooring using a curved profile (skirting cap). KS 61 is bonded to a smooth wall using polymer adhesive or mastic, with a corrugated backing, and the corners are cut using a special cutter to ensure clean joints.
