AMF Ventatec accessible suspended ceiling grid — T-Grid (T-24 / T-15)

Ceiling tiles and suspended ceilings

Description

The exposed metal framework (T-grid) upon which the modular ceiling panels are mounted. The AMF Ventatec system creates a 600×600 (or 600×1200) grid and is suspended from the load-bearing structure — the essential foundation of any accessible suspended ceiling.

In contrast to the concealed CD/UD framework used in plasterboard systems, accessible suspended ceilings with mineral fibre/metal panels utilise a visible T-frame. The main runners (3,600 mm) are suspended from the panel, the secondary runners (1,200 & 600 mm) are clipped in vertically to form the grid, and the L-shaped perimeter corner defines the frame against the walls. The panels are simply laid in or fitted with a tongue-and-groove joint.

T-24 or T-15?

Ventatec T-24 → visible 24 mm wide framework — the standard, economical and readily available solution.

Ventatec T-15 → 15 mm wide visible framework — a slimmer, ‘cleaner’ aesthetic.

Matching the board: the board edge type (Board / Tegular 24 / Tegular 15) must correspond to the frame.
