The connectors that form the grid of the suspended ceiling: they join the CD 60x27 ceiling profiles to one another and to the framework, forming a sturdy, level grid. All connection types on a single page.
In a suspended ceiling, it is not enough simply to hang the CD profiles — they must be connected to one another to form a grid. Depending on the geometry (intersection, T-joint, extension, connection to a reinforcement profile), select the appropriate connector. All the types listed below apply to 60x27 CD profiles.
Which connector for which connection:
Cross connector X (‘saddle’) → joins two CD profiles intersecting at right angles — the base of a double grid.
T-connector → T-shaped connection of CD profiles or connection to the perimeter (and with the option to rotate).
Pi-shaped connector → special connections/supports; the UA version connects CD to a UA reinforcement profile.
Knauf Multi (M) → multi-purpose (crosswise & longitudinal connection).
