In a suspended ceiling, the hangers transfer the weight of the CD grid to the slab. The choice depends on the void height (plenum), the load, the acoustic requirements and whether the ceiling is accessible. All the types listed below are for 60x27 CD profiles.
Which suspension system should I choose:
Quick-release suspension + tie rod → adjustable, variable void height (the most common).
Direct suspension P → small gap; secures the CD close to the slab.
Rigid / Nonius → heavy loads & precise, robust adjustment.
Anti-vibration (P with rubber / O) → sound-insulated ceilings (vibration decoupling).
Light suspension → accessible/demountable ceilings.
