CERESIT CT 79 Impactum | Elastomeric finishing coat

Ceresit CT 79 is a ready-to-use, highly elastic decorative render with a ‘pebble’ texture and a grain size of 1.5 mm, reinforced with a combination of carbon fibres, glass and polyacrylamide. As the top coat of the Ceresit Ceretherm Impactum system, it offers Class I resistance to mechanical damage in accordance with ETAG 004, whilst maintaining elasticity across a wider temperature range than traditional acrylic renders.

ARGYNET LAB: CT 79 is the natural ‘partner’ of CT 100 — together they complete the Impactum system in areas subject to daily wear and tear: building plinths, entrances, car parks and areas near children’s playgrounds. A unique technical advantage: CT 79 can be used in very dark colours (the ‘Intense’ range), something that traditional acrylic or silicate renders largely restrict due to the thermal expansion of dark surfaces — the elastomeric composition of CT 79 absorbs this stress. It is also self-cleaning, with high resistance to dirt, fungi and algae. At ARGYNET, we recommend it as a complement to the Impactum system or as a stand-alone solution for façades requiring a deep dark colour.
