Expanded polystyrene (EPS)

Description

FIBRANeps GRAFIT 100 is a graphite-reinforced EPS from BASF’s NEOPOR® range: it retains the superior thermal conductivity of graphite (λD 0.030 W/(m·K)) and offers higher compressive strength (CS(10) 100 kPa). Complies with EN 13163, with CE marking and DoP.

Same outstanding graphite thermal conductivity λ 0.030 as GRAFIT 80 — but higher compressive strength: CS(10) 100 versus 80 kPa. In practice, it is the choice for taller or mechanically more demanding external wall insulation, where the ETICS system is subjected to greater stresses. It remains Euroclass E: where non-combustible insulation (A1) is required → stone wool.
