iD INSPIRATION MARINE | IMO-approved LVT for ships

Tarkett’s iD Inspiration Marine is an LVT vinyl floor covering for full-adhesive installation, certified in accordance with IMO/MED regulations (IMO FTP Code, Parts 2 and 5) for use on ships. With a wear layer of 0.55 mm, a matt PUR surface and R10 slip resistance, it brings the look of wood and stone to cabins, lounges and dining areas on cruise ships and passenger vessels. It is suitable for wet areas and is resistant to chemicals. It is available in 6 designs, in planks and tiles, with a 10-year warranty for commercial use.

On ships, the choice of flooring starts with the certification, not the design. iD Inspiration Marine offers a hotel-style aesthetic – wood, terrazzo and concrete – with the IMO/MED approval required by the classification society. Together with the homogeneous vinyl ranges Standard Plus and Vylon Plus, which are also IMO-approved, it covers everything from cabins to corridors and service areas.
