Resilient flooring: vinyl, LVT and linoleum

Resilient flooring covers the majority of commercial premises: hospitals, schools, offices, hotels and shops. These floor coverings are thin (2–3.5 mm), resistant to foot traffic and easy to clean. The choice of type is determined by three factors: the space’s usage class according to EN ISO 10874, hygiene requirements and acoustic performance. Homogeneous vinyl, which is single-layered and coloured throughout its thickness, is suitable for areas where wear is heavy and hygiene is critical. Heterogeneous flooring offers design flexibility and acoustic options. LVT, available in tiles and planks, offers a realistic wood or stone look in spaces with high aesthetic demands. Linoleum is the solution made from natural raw materials. All require a level, dry subfloor and the appropriate adhesive. That is why we supply them together with primers, self-levelling compounds and colour-matched welding rods.
