Knauf Perlfix — Adhesive for fixing plasterboard and panels

Joint treatment materials

Description

A gypsum-based adhesive plaster that fixes plasterboard and composite panels directly to the wall, without a metal framework. The quick ‘dot-and-dab’ dry construction method for interiors.

Knauf Perlfix is a gypsum-based adhesive for fixing plasterboard and composite panels (thermal/acoustic insulation) to solid internal walls. It is applied in dots (dot-and-dab) to the back of the board or to the wall; the board is pressed into place and levelled, smoothing out minor irregularities in the substrate.

Adhesive application or framework?

- Perlfix (adhesive application/dot-and-dab) → quick, no framework required, for relatively flat solid walls; minimal loss of space.

- Metal framework (CW/UW) → for uneven walls, electrical and mechanical installations, cavity insulation, great heights, acoustic decoupling.

- Substrate preparation: absorbent wall → Tiefengrund primer; smooth concrete → Betokontakt, prior to bonding.

Overview

Key Features

- Frameless bonding — rapid dry construction.

- For plasterboard and composite panels (thermal/acoustic insulation).

- Levels out minor wall irregularities.
