Repair and structural strengthening

Description

S&P C-Laminates composite laminates (previously known by the code names S&P FRP Laminates CFK and/or S&P CFK Lamellas) are high-strength, rigid laminates with exceptional mechanical properties, preformed from carbon fibres and an epoxy resin binder, using Fibre-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) technology. These preformed, composite S&P C-Laminates cross-sections are produced via a process of extruding the carbon fibres, which in turn pass through a layer of low-viscosity liquid resin, forming, after curing, a composite, rigid sheet. S&P C-Laminates SM & HM sheets are specially designed for structural reinforcement in projects involving load-bearing elements in concrete, timber, steel structures and masonry.

Overview

Key Features

• They have a negligible, uniform product weight.

• Low effective cross-sectional thickness.

• Very high durability / Very high tensile strength.

• Excellent mechanical strength and characteristic properties.

• High modulus of elasticity.

• Non-corrosive product – Resistant to alkaline environments.

• Excellent resistance to fatigue and ageing.

• Cost-effective in terms of installation, requiring no special tools or equipment – It is a reversible reinforcement method.

• Easy to transport and install the cross-sections without causing any particular disruption.

• A system that allows for coating and a range of colour options.

• A monolithic, single-piece system, with no joints or connectors.
