Sinmast S2WV is a two-component, slightly milky-coloured, self-contained epoxy impregnation resin (adhesive). It is a high-strength system with relatively low viscosity and is solvent-free. It consists of an epoxy-based, special resin with adjustable viscosity, as well as a hardener of European origin.
It is an epoxy resin that functions as an impregnation layer and as an adhesive for bonding FRP / FRP (carbon, glass and/or aramid) reinforcement fabrics, using either the dry or wet lay-up method on concrete surfaces, polymer mortars, etc., and/or onto a primer coat (Sinmast S2W, previously applied to concrete surfaces characterised by high absorbency). Ideal for most FRP/FRP fabric reinforcement applications, during both summer and winter.

After mixing the two-component system, the product exhibits the following characteristics and properties:
· High mechanical strength.
· Low to medium viscosity (product with adjustable flow).
· High penetration capacity into the polymer fibre matrix of FRPs.
· Easy-to-use product (mixture), once the two components have been mixed using a short-bristled roller or a rubber-edged trowel.
· Excellent adhesion to concrete, stone, timber and, in general, most porous substrates that exhibit relatively satisfactory strength (*).
· Used as an impregnation layer and as an adhesive for bonding FRP (carbon, glass and/or aramid) fabrics to vertical or horizontal concrete surfaces.
· The product does not shrink after curing.
· Impermeable to liquids after curing.
· Formulation suitable, depending on selection, for application during the summer or winter months.
· User-friendly as it contains no solvents.
