Repair and structural strengthening

Description

S&P C-Sheet 240 are high-strength, flexible reinforcement fabrics with exceptional mechanical properties, made from carbon polymer fibres in unidirectional configurations, using Fibre-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) technology. They feature a double-sided weave to secure the carbon fibres and are specifically designed for structural reinforcement, primarily using the dry application method, for repairs to load-bearing structural elements made of concrete, timber and masonry.

Fabric thickness for structural design: 0.113 mm / 0.167 mm / 0.222 mm, respectively. Fabric weight: 230, 330 and 430 g/m². Fabric with high elastic modulus (≥ 240, ≥ 265 & ≥ 265 GPa, respectively) and fibres with high tensile strength: (≥ 4,400–5,100–5,100 N/mm², respectively).

Overview

Key Features

• Excellent mechanical strength and characteristic properties.

• High modulus of elasticity.

• Very high tensile strength.

• Non-corrosive product – Resistant to alkaline environments.

• Easy to transport and install.

• Low-density weave with an almost negligible product weight.

• Features a double-sided weave to hold the carbon fibres in place (weave structured in accordance with the warp-weft weaving principle).

• Cost-effective in terms of technical intervention and application costs, requiring no special tools or equipment – Extremely rapid application process.

• In terms of reinforcement, it is a reversible method of intervention.

• A reinforcement method causing the least possible disruption to structural members, which rarely requires maintenance measures.

• Excellent behaviour in terms of fatigue and ageing.

• Reinforcement systems that do not alter the original external dimensions of the structural elements to which they are fitted.

• Systems that can be coated and painted in a variety of colours.
