SCOPE OF APPLICATION

- Internal walls and floors, beneath ceramic tiles

- Private bathrooms with a bath or shower, WCs, kitchens

- Heated screeds and floors with underfloor heating

- Floors with insulating layers — laid directly on the load-distributing screed

- Gypsum, anhydrite and cement screed substrates

- Old ceramic floor coverings

APPLICATION NOTE

Three restrictions that must not be breached: for indoor use only; never in swimming pools or permanently wet areas; and moisture from the underside must be permanently prevented. For swimming pools and permanently submerged areas, the data sheet explicitly refers to CL 50.

On anhydrite and self-levelling compound screeds: mechanical sanding, dust removal, CT 17 or CN 94 primer, substrate moisture content ≤ 0.5% by weight. On gypsum render ≤ 1.0%, with an average render thickness of 15 mm — thicknesses below 10 mm are not permitted, and the surface must be scraped rather than sanded smooth.

Two coats, non-soluble. Second coat after approximately 1 hour; tiles after 2 hours. Expansion joints and wall-to-floor corners with CL 82 or CL 152 tape; pipe penetrations and drains with CL 83/84 collars — are installed within the first layer and encased by the second. Apply at temperatures between +5 and +30 °C, in dry conditions only.
