- Clean the surface of dust, dirt and other substances that reduce adhesion. Remove any loose mechanical particles. Cement screeds and concrete screeds must have fully cured before applying CERESIT CM 17. Absorbent substrates must be primed and left to dry. Surface irregularities of up to 5 mm can be levelled the day before using CERESIT CM 17

- Pour the contents of the CERESIT CM 17 pack into a precisely measured quantity of clean water (5.75 to 6.25 litres of water per 25 kg) and mix with a drill until a homogeneous, lump-free mixture is obtained. Leave for 2 minutes and then stir again.

- Apply CERESIT CM 17 tile adhesive to the substrate using a suitable notched trowel. For indoor use, the tile adhesive must cover at least 65 per cent of the back of the tiles. For outdoor use, the ‘back-to-back’ application method should be followed to ensure that at least 90 per cent of the back of the tiles is covered. Lay the tiles only whilst the CM 17 adhesive is still workable.
