CERESIT Thermo Universal | Fibre-reinforced base coat mortar

Ceresit Thermo Universal is a cementitious mortar designed as the ‘universal’ product of the Ceresit Ceretherm system: the same bag is used for fixing EPS boards (white & graphite), XPS and stone wool (MW), as well as for creating the reinforced base layer with glass fibre mesh on all these materials. Fibre-reinforced, with high adhesion, vapour permeability and frost resistance.

ARGYNET LAB framing: In most ETICS projects, a different adhesive is required for each material — CT 82 for EPS/XPS, CT 180 for stone wool. Thermo Universal eliminates this distinction: it is certified for all three materials, with separate — but documented — application rates for each case. It is ideal for projects with mixed insulation systems (e.g. EPS on external walls + stone wool in fire protection zones or adjacent openings), where it drastically simplifies the supply process and reduces the risk of using the wrong material on site.
