CLIPSTAR | Tarkett wooden skirting board with veneer and concealed clip

Clipstar is Tarkett’s wooden skirting for finishing pre-polished parquet and laminate flooring. It covers the perimeter expansion joint that is always left in a wooden floor, 8–10 mm, or approximately 1.5 mm per metre of flooring, and creates a seamless finish where the floor meets the wall. The core is made of solid finger-jointed spruce and the surface of genuine wood veneer (oak, beech, beech, birch) or white decorative foil, with two coats of solvent-free UV acrylic varnish and E1 formaldehyde emission rating. The 26 shades cover the full range of flooring colours: from whites and light greys to natural, brown and graphite.

At ARGYNET, we recommend Clipstar alongside the parquet, either in the same shade or in white to ‘blend’ with the wall. The key is the clip system: the metal clips are screwed into the wall every 25–50 cm and the skirting simply ‘clips’ into place, with no visible screws and no need for filler. It can be removed and refitted without tools, follows minor irregularities in the wall and leaves a channel for cables up to Ø 7 mm. One box of 50 clips is sufficient for approximately 25 m of skirting. As it is made of wood, it requires dry indoor environments with relative humidity below 60 per cent and must not be installed in areas at risk of water damage.
