CNW Medium | Coloured Non-Woven Geotextile

Geotextiles

Description

The only colour version in the range: colour-coded for immediate verification of installation on projects with multiple zones. Medium to heavy-duty mechanical properties — tensile strength 5 to 90 kN/m and CBR up to 11 kN. Non-woven, needle-punched, made from 100% polypropylene fibres, UV-stabilised.

In the range, it is positioned between the NW Standard and the PNW Protection, with a full CBR range from 0.90 to 11 kN. It hydraulically covers the entire range — water flow rate 20 to 180 l/m²·s and pore size 50 to 130 μm — and is available in rolls up to 6.0 m wide.

Colour is not just for decoration — it is a quality control measure. On a project involving three different geotextile weights, the most common site error is not incorrect installation; it is using the wrong type in the wrong zone. And once it is covered, it cannot be seen.

With colour-coding, the site supervisor can verify this from a distance, without taking samples, before the next layer of material is laid. In practice: one colour per weight, recorded in the project log.
