DANCE FLOOR 3.45 mm | Tarkett vinyl flooring for dance and ballet

Tarkett’s Dancefloor is a 3.45 mm vinyl floor designed exclusively for dancing. Its surface has a controlled coefficient of friction, allowing dancers to turn safely without slipping or ‘sticking’. The closed-cell foam backing provides elasticity that relieves strain on muscles and tendons during long rehearsals. The wear layer is 0.65 mm thick and the flooring comes with a 10-year professional warranty. It is used by schools such as the Australian Ballet and the Montreal Ballet Academy.

We recommend it for dance and ballet schools, theatre rehearsal rooms, Pilates and yoga studios, and for rhythmic gymnastics halls in schools. Unlike portable roll-out dance floors, it is permanently bonded to the subfloor. This means it does not shift, the edges do not lift, and the joints are heat-sealed. It is available in two colours: Silver Grey brightens up the studio and makes the mirrors stand out, whilst Black lends a theatrical feel to performance halls.
