ESHADIEN ANTIROOT | Bituminous root-resistant membrane

Specialised bituminous membranes

Description

Elastomeric (SBS) waterproofing membrane with strong anti-root properties, part of ESHA’s certified EshaOxygen green flat roof system. The root-barrier effect is achieved through the uniform dispersion of the Preventol B5 additive throughout the entire mass of the modified bitumen — not just on the surface. Once applied, it forms a continuous root-barrier that prevents root penetration and remains active and stable throughout the entire service life of the waterproofing system, even at very high or low temperatures. The polyester reinforcement offers high dimensional stability and mechanical strength, whilst the SBS modification maintains flexibility down to -20°C. Complete waterproofing and root-resistant membrane protection in a single product.

The ARGYNET View: Preventol B5 incorporated into the mass — not just on the surface — distinguishes a genuine root-resistant membrane from a simple SBS membrane. Roots do not stop at the surface; a barrier is required throughout the entire thickness.
