FIBRANgeo B-051 | Stone wool for flooring

The FIBRANgeo B-051 rigid stone wool board is a natural, inorganic, fibrous thermal insulation material made from mineral wool in accordance with EN 13162, specially designed for floating floors and sound insulation. It combines thermal insulation (λD = 0.035 W/mK), Class A1 fire resistance, low dynamic stiffness (s′ = 18 MN/m³) and a load-bearing capacity of up to 7 kN/m².

ARGYNET LAB: The B-051 is the floor slab in the stone wool range: its low dynamic stiffness (s′ = 18 MN/m³) reduces impact noise transmission (ΔLw) in floating floors, whilst the controlled compressibility (CP 3 mm) and load-bearing capacity (up to 7 kN/m² for floor classes A, B, C1–C4) ensure a stable floating screed beneath marble, tiles or timber. Non-combustible A1 — also suitable for flat roofs and specialised fire/sound insulation structures. At ARGYNET, we document the choice of thickness and the composition of the floating floor.
