Knauf UW track 75x40x0.6 mm

75 mm wide U-section metal track — the perimeter profile for sturdier, taller and sound-insulating plasterboard walls. In accordance with EN 14195; the 0.6 mm version also complies with DIN 18182 T1. Paired with the CW 75 stud.

Knauf UW profiles are installed around the perimeter and accommodate the CW vertical studs. The 75 mm width provides a greater wall span — more space for insulation and penetrations, greater permissible heights and improved sound insulation/fire resistance.

Which width should I choose:

- 50 mm → standard partitions, low heights.

- 75 mm (this one) → taller walls, better sound insulation, space for electrical and mechanical penetrations and insulation.

- 100 mm → the highest height and performance requirements.

- Always UW ↔ CW of the same width (UW 75 → CW 75).
