LINOMARINE | Tarkett Linoleum with IMO certification for ships and boats

Introduction

LinoMarine is Tarkett’s linoleum for the maritime sector. It is certified to IMO/MED (Wheelmark) standards for use on ships and boats. It is manufactured in Narni, Italy, from up to 97 per cent natural ingredients and is Cradle to Cradle® Silver certified. It is 2.5 mm thick, classified as Class 34 Very Heavy and features xf² surface protection, which withstands heavy footfall and is easy to clean without wax. It is available in 49 colours, in the Veneto, Etrusco, Style Elle and Style Emme finishes. This means a ship can have the same aesthetic as a modern hotel.

For cabins, lounges, corridors and crew quarters on passenger ships, cruise ships and yachts, LinoMarine brings a natural material to environments where synthetics predominate. As it comes in the same colours as land-based linoleum, designers can work with the familiar Veneto and Etrusco colour palettes.
