PROFESSIONAL WOOD | Pre-polished 3-strip parquet, 13, 14 & 22 mm

Professional is Tarkett’s 3-strip flooring for high-traffic areas. The surface is calm and uniform, so that wear and tear is not immediately apparent, available in oak (Nature, Robust) and beech (Nature, Contrast), in natural or bleached shades. It is available in three thicknesses: 13 mm with a 2.5 mm solid wood layer, 14 mm with a 3.5 mm layer and 22 mm with a 3.5 mm layer. The finish is Proteco Natura (matt) or Proteco Lacquer. The 13–14 mm planks feature a 2-lock system and can be laid as a floating floor or glued down. The 22 mm is engineered parquet: it is laid directly onto joists, without an underlay.

We recommend it for projects such as offices, a hotel, a shop or a school, and the specifier wants genuine, durable wood. The subtle 3-strip pattern conceals wear and tear and is well-suited to large areas. The 3.5 mm layer of fine timber allows for repeated sanding throughout the building’s lifespan. The 22 mm option solves a specific problem: the renovation of old buildings with timber joists or beams, where the parquet must ‘bridge’ the gaps on its own. It is also suitable for projects where thermal resistance (0.152 m²K/W) and very low carbon emissions (−10.6 kg CO₂eq/m²) are key considerations.
