SHADE WOOD | Pre-polished oak and beech parquet by Tarkett

Shade is Tarkett’s most versatile range of pre-finished parquet: 23 designs in oak and beech, in five formats, ranging from the wide 1-strip Plank XT 190 mm to the classic 3-strip TreS. The shades range from almost white (LRV 82) to dark browns and greys (LRV 13). Each plank consists of three layers: 2.5 or 3.5 mm solid wood, a lamella core and a backing board. It comes ready to install, with Proteco Natura surface protection and a 2-lock joint. It can be laid as a floating floor or glued down, without the need for on-site sanding or varnishing, and is compatible with underfloor heating.

This is the collection we recommend when a customer wants real wood and a wide range of options within the same project. In a home, you can lay Plank XT in the living room and TreS in the bedrooms, in the same shade, using the same installation method and the same fittings. The 3.5 mm-thick designs (Plank and Plank XT, 14 mm) can withstand more sanding in the future and are the right choice for long-term residential use. The 13 mm with a 2.5 mm layer (TreS, DuoPlank, MidiPlank) are the most economical solution for renovations and investment properties. Light-coloured and brushed finishes require slightly more frequent maintenance, as Tarkett points out.
