SINMAST S2 WB | Water-based epoxy primer

SINMAST S2 WB is a two-component, water-based, solvent-free and odourless epoxy primer. It is the first layer of any resin-based floor: it is applied prior to epoxy paints, self-levelling compounds and polyurethane finishes. It seals the concrete, binds dust and ensures adhesion of over 3.1 N/mm². Applied in 2–3 coats, it also acts as a vapour barrier. It also serves as a bonding primer prior to the application of liquid-applied elastic waterproofing membranes.

We recommend it when the site cannot accommodate solvents: enclosed basements, unventilated storage areas, kitchens and food preparation areas in operation, clean rooms, and residential buildings. As it is odourless, the work can be carried out without the need to evacuate the premises or interrupt the building’s operations. It serves as a common primer for two different applications: epoxy flooring and liquid-applied membrane waterproofing. This means the installer has one less material to manage. If the substrate has a moisture content of over 4 per cent, the correct primer is SINMAST S2 Wet on Wet.
