Cementitious waterproofing mortars

Description

VANDEX CEMELAST 100 is a two-component, elastomerised waterproofing mortar: cement powder with quartz and selected additives, mixed with a polymer emulsion instead of water. The polymer imparts elasticity that bridges cracks up to 0.5 mm.

Its capillary absorption is 0.017 kg/(m²·h⁰·⁵) — approximately three times lower than that of BB 75 and six times lower than the standard limit. It withstands 1.5 MPa of adhesion, and 1.2 MPa even after freeze-thaw cycles involving de-icing salts.

It is used on foundations, basement walls and beneath tiles in damp areas. Below is the mixing ratio, which has a distinctive feature.

It is the elastic product in the VANDEX range: it bridges cracks where SUPER and BB 75 are rigid. There are two differences in application: the substrate should be slightly damp, not saturated, and the fire rating drops from A1 to E.

Overview
