Cementitious waterproofing mortars

Description

VANDEX UNIMORTAR 1 is a cementitious mortar that performs two functions simultaneously: it restores cross-sections and waterproofs. It is applied in layers of 6 to 12 mm using a trowel or a spray gun, on both vertical and horizontal surfaces.

It is classified as a Class R3 structural repair mortar in accordance with EN 1504-3, with an adhesion strength of over 2 MPa and a compressive strength of approximately 40 MPa at 28 days. It performs under both positive and negative pressure, is non-combustible (class A1) and certified for contact with drinking water. Below are the application rates, which are multiples of a single coat — and the reason you choose it.

Same product family as BB 75, same R3 class, almost identical strength properties. The difference lies in the thickness: the BB 75 is suitable for 1.5–3 mm, whilst UNIMORTAR is suitable for 6–12 mm. When you’re short on material — not just waterproofing — this is the one to choose.
