Cementitious waterproofing mortars

Description

CERESIT CR 65 is a rigid, single-component waterproofing mortar that is mixed with water only and applied by brush, trowel or spray to a dry thickness of 2 to 5 mm. It withstands a water column of up to 10 metres and is effective even on the negative side.

It is distinguished by the Hydroslide Effect: it reduces capillary absorption to below 0.1 kg/(m²·h⁰·⁵) and limits the action of chlorides and de-icing salts.

It is suitable for foundations, monolithic tanks and swimming pools, and is ready for tiling after seven days. Below are the consumption rates per thickness and the conditions governing its application.

Classified in accordance with EN 1504-2 — protective coating, not a repair mortar such as BB 75. It does not restore cross-sections and does not protect reinforcement. What it does best: a 10-metre column and a substrate ready for tiling.

Overview

Key Features

- Water column up to 10 m — reservoirs and swimming pools

- Operates on both the positive and negative sides

- Hydroslide Effect — capillary absorption w < 0.1 kg/(m²·h⁰·⁵)

- Restricts chlorides and de-icing salts

- Vapour-permeable — Class I, Sᴅ < 5 m

- Adhesion ≥ 1.0 MPa, and ≥ 2.0 MPa under traffic

- Single-component — mix with water only, no resin

- Frost-resistant, volume-stable

- Can be applied with a brush, trowel or by spraying

- Suitable for tiling after 7 days, using Class C2 adhesive
