CERESIT DH Maxi | High-strength self-levelling compound, 3–30 mm
Subfloor preparation and flooring adhesivesDescription
CERESIT DH Maxi is a levelling compound for high-traffic areas in residential and public buildings: corridors, schools, offices, shops and clinics. It achieves a thickness of 3–30 mm in a single coat, whilst the cellulose fibres minimise cracking and shrinkage and provide a hard, smooth surface with a compressive strength of 30 N/mm² and a bond strength of 2 N/mm². It is walkable in 4–6 hours and can be overlaid in approximately 24 hours for thicknesses up to 15 mm, or in 48 hours for greater thicknesses, with a moisture content of ≤ 2 % CM. It is suitable for laying vinyl, linoleum, rubber, carpet and parquet flooring.
At ARGYNET, DH Maxi is the choice when DA is insufficient in terms of thickness or strength, but the space is indoors and does not require the 50 mm thickness of CN 76. It is particularly well-suited to the refurbishment of commercial premises that need to be back in operation quickly: levelling in the morning, walkable by the afternoon, and ready for flooring the next day. The substrate must have a compressive strength of at least 15 N/mm². On a cementitious substrate, apply at least two coats of CERESIT R 766; for thicknesses exceeding 10 mm, use CERESIT R 755 with a sprinkling of quartz sand. The material must be covered with the final floor covering as soon as possible, as leaving it uncovered for weeks carries a risk of cracking.
