CLASSIC 40 | Semi-commercial vinyl roll with a wear layer of 0.40 mm

Introduction

Tarkett’s Classic 40 is a heterogeneous vinyl roll with a foam backing, suitable for everything from residential to commercial premises. The 0.40 mm wear layer, the thickest in Tarkett’s range of residential rolls, classifies it as Class 23 for heavy residential use, Class 32 for general commercial use and Class 41 for light industrial use. It withstands castor-fitted chairs without wear after 25,000 cycles and furniture legs, with a residual indentation of just ≤ 0.10 mm. It is available in widths of 2, 3 and 4 m × 25 m and can be fitted as a glued-down or loose-lay installation. It features 24 wood and stone designs and comes with a 15-year guarantee.

Classic 40 is the roll we recommend for projects that are ‘half residential, half commercial’: offices, small shops, doctors’ surgeries, letting flats and hotel rooms. It is sturdier than the Iconik range, with less sound insulation, but it does not show marks from furniture or castors and withstands heavy use for many more years. For homes where comfort and noise levels are a priority, opt for Iconik 280 Tex or 300.
