Extruded polystyrene (XPS)Description
Rigid, waterproof XPS (extruded polystyrene) board with a smooth surface on both sides and longitudinal grooves, specially designed for the thermal insulation of pitched tiled roofs. Offers the same top-class mechanical strength and water resistance as the FIBRANxps range, with a shape that adapts easily to the roof.
The ‘M’ stands for grooved: the grooves make it easier to fit and handle the board on the roof. At ARGYNET, we recommend it for pitched tiled roofs without sound insulation or fire protection requirements — where these are required, the correct solution is FIBRANgeo stone wool. In a single layer, with an ‘L’-shaped edge to eliminate thermal bridges.
