ISOLFON ReCork | Floor Sound Insulation

ISOLFON ReCork is manufactured from recycled elastomeric material and cork, bonded with polyurethane adhesive. It offers excellent elasticity and is a cost-effective, environmentally friendly solution for a cork-elastomeric anti-vibration underlay. It is suitable for all conventional flooring applications — and its main advantage is that it does not require an additional cement screed to provide adequate load-bearing capacity, unlike heavier anti-vibration systems.

ARGYNET LAB: ReCork is the solution when ISOLFON ReRub is ‘excessive’ for the application — in refurbishments where the available height is limited and there is no scope for a floating screed or extensive building work. With a minimum thickness of 3 mm, it is laid directly beneath tiles or wooden flooring — even over an existing floor covering. Its performance (ΔLw 15–21 dB depending on the application) is lower than that of ReRub (up to 32 dB), but the speed and simplicity of installation make it an ideal choice for hotels, flats and projects with tight deadlines.
