Knauf CW stud 75x50x0.6 mm
Metal profiles for dry constructionDescription
C-section metal stud, 75 mm wide — for taller, sturdier and sound-insulating plasterboard walls. In accordance with EN 14195; the 0.6 mm version also complies with the stringent DIN 18182 T1 standard. Paired with the UW 75 track.
Knauf CW 75 studs are the vertical load-bearing elements for wider walls: they are installed within the UW 75 tracks and support the plasterboard. The greater width allows for increased permissible wall heights, more space for insulation/cable routing and better sound insulation. Cables are routed through the factory-drilled holes (circular/H).
Correct use & selection:
CW 75 → UW 75 (pair of the same width).
Single or double (H): for high walls or increased structural requirements, two CW panels back-to-back.
Width: 50 (standard) · 75 (tall/soundproofing) · 100 (maximum requirements).
0.6 mm (DIN 18182 T1) — professional standard.
