TEKTALAN A2-HS | Wood wool with stone wool core

Fibrous insulation

Description

Knauf Insulation’s Tektalan A2-HS (Heraklith®) is non-combustible (A2-s1, d0) composite board with a stone wool core and wood fibre facing on both sides, in accordance with EN 13168. It combines thermal insulation, high sound absorption and fire protection in a mechanically robust board.

The ARGYNET View:

What sets the A2-HS apart is its symmetrical structure: wood wool on both sides (5 mm) with a stone wool core. This gives it a double sound-absorbing surface and the option of remaining exposed or being rendered with conventional or ready-mixed render. It is mechanically fixed in place afterwards or incorporated into the formwork before concreting, with excellent adhesion to the concrete. Non-combustible A2-s1,d0, breathable and resistant to microorganisms — popular in bioclimatic projects (LEED/BREEAM/DGNB/WELL).
