ESHADESMOLAST PRIMER PU | Polyurethane primer

Liquid-applied membranes

Description

ESHADESMOLAST PRIMER PU is a high-quality, single-component polyurethane primer, formulated on the basis of elastomeric polyurethanes. Polymerisation is complete within 12 hours of application, creating a homogeneous protective film that is uniform, hard and elastic.

Its special formulation is designed to enhance the adhesion of polyurethane-based materials to all porous substrates. It has a density of 0.95 ± 0.05 g/cm³ and a low viscosity of 110 cPs at 25°C, with surface drying in 2–4 hours.

Two applications, two completely different consumption rates — and the calculation varies accordingly.

As a primer prior to ESHADESMOLAST: one coat, 0.150 kg/m². A straightforward figure, easy to calculate.

As a surface protection — anti-corrosive on metal or protective on concrete: two consecutive coats, with no more than 20 hours between them. Beyond this limit, inter-coat adhesion deteriorates and the film ceases to be uniform.

And one application that often goes unnoticed but solves a real problem: improving adhesion between old and new concrete. In any reinforcement or repair work, the interface between the old and new concrete is the weak point. The very same primer you already have in your van tackles this.

Overview

Key Features
