DRAIN E 400 | Dimpled drainage membrane
DrainageDescription
The thinnest in the range — 5 mm high conical profiles, for applications where the available layer thickness is limited. A high-density polyethylene (HDPE) membrane that creates an air gap between the waterproofing and the backfill, whilst ensuring drainage, mechanical protection and moisture vapour release.
In addition to drainage, the membrane acts as a mechanical shield: it withstands a static load of >20 kg, impact >20 mm and tear resistance >300 N, protecting the waterproofing layer from gravel and rubble in the backfill. At the same time, it shields the foundations from root penetration, chemical and bacterial attacks from the soil, and protects floors from rising damp.
Certified to EN 13967. It is not biodegradable in the soil and does not contaminate the water table. Available in rolls measuring 2.00 × 20 m (40 m²).
