iQ GRANIT | Homogeneous vinyl flooring for hospitals and schools

Tarkett’s iQ Granit is a homogeneous vinyl floor covering: the colour and pattern run through the entire 2 mm thickness, meaning the wear layer comprises the entire floor. It is classified as Category 34 (Very Heavy) and Industrial Category 43 (Heavy), with a reaction to fire of Bfl-s1. The iQ PUR finish eliminates the need for waxing throughout its lifetime: scratches are repaired by simple dry buffing. It is certified for ISO Class 3 cleanrooms and for wet areas, available in rolls or tiles, in 50 colours.

In hospitals, the main cost of flooring lies in maintenance, not in the initial purchase. iQ Granit requires neither waxing nor chemical stripping. It is cleaned by the same contractor crew using the same machine, and the ward does not need to be closed off. That is why it has been the most common specification in Greek hospitals for decades.
